KingSeal is our pressure seal mailer - a one-part form that folds and seals to create
a mail piece without requiring envelopes - the form itself also serves as the envelope. Here's
how it's done.
- Forms are manufactured with a special sealing cohesive printed around the edges and
designed so that data is imaged on some panels and the address info on another panel.
- After information is imaged by computer printers, equipment folds and applies pressure to the
form, sealing the edges to enclose the confidential data while exposing the address area,
creating a ready-to-mail document.
- The recipient opens the document using perforations applied during manufacturing.

Simplified System Operations
Reduced Operating Overhead
Faster Entry into the Distribution System
|
- Conventional Post Processing operations include tasks such as staging components, folding,
loading envelopes into inserters, inserting, sealing, and affixing postage. KingSeal mailing
system eliminates or reduces these tasks, making the entire process more streamlined and
efficient.
- With KingSeal, there are no envelopes to stage or load, so two steps are eliminated.
- Since the form serves as its own envelope, there is no need to insert, which eliminates
another task.
- The postage can be imaged on the form by your computer printer, so another step is
eliminated completely.
- And finally the equipment folds and seals simultaneously. This streamlines the entire process,
which reduces labor costs and operating overhead, while getting the documents into the
distribution stream much quicker!
|
|
KingSeal Dry Cohesive
|
- Unlike other one-piece mailing systems, KingSeal does not require water to activate the
cohesive, or bottles of messy glue to fill. This keeps your processing environment clean,
and eliminates downtime required to refill, clean, and setup folding/sealing equipment.
- This results in faster throughput and more efficient overall processing.
|
| Security and Confidentiality of Data |
- Since the system uses no envelopes, there is no chance of two documents being inserted
into one envelope, so confidentiality of data and the application is greatly increased.
- Our method of creating the seal provides a more secure seal than other sealing methods.
- Using one part forms means all data entries are original image instead of carbon or
carbonless copies. This makes it more difficult to alter information, such as check amounts,
than with forms using carbon or carbonless impressions.
|
|
Easy Forms Processing through Printers
|
- There are no windows or die-cuts on KingSeal forms, so forms process smoothly and reliably
through all types of printers - cut sheet, continuous, laser, or impact, data production or
desktop models. This means there is less downtime to clear printer jams or process reprints!
- KingSeal cohesive is compatible with virtually every type of printer in the marketplace,
assuring reliable processing.
|
|
Simple Programming
|
- Form layouts are designed as letter (C), zigzag (Z), or single (V) folds, meaning very
little programming changes are required. Generally, all that needs to be done is to reformat
the printout, not the application program itself.
|
|
Easier Forms Ordering, Storage, and Staging
|
- Eliminating envelopes simplifies procurement and reduces shipping and storage costs.
- Costs and time required for distribution and staging processes are reduced, so the entire
mail preparation process is smoother, more efficient, and completed sooner.
|
|
Improved Postal Processing and Reduced Postal Codes
|
- By using your computer printer to print the address directly onto the face of the address
panel, the data is clearer and more legible than documents or envelopes using die cut windows,
which means postal equipment is better able to read and process your mailings.
- Using your printer to image PostNet bar codes directly onto the address panel can significantly
reduce postage costs!

KingSeal Mailers are available in cut sheet, continuous (fanfold),
and roll formats, in 11 and 14 inch lengths. The application, printer
used to image the data, and the folding/sealing equipment used to process the
application determines which size and format you select. KingSeal Mailers
are available in three primary fold constructions as detailed below.
Z FOLD
 (ZIGZAG)
|
A three panel design that provides two panels of enclosed data and one
panel for exposed address information. This is the most popular construction
since all data is computer imaged on one side of the sheet (simplex), eliminating
the need for windows, or two-sided imaging (duplex). Available in 11 and 14 inch lengths.
|
C FOLD
 (LETTER FOLD)
|
Provides more data entry space than Z fold. All three panels of the inside are
used for enclosed data, while one panel of the outside is used for address information.
C Fold constructions require that the computer printer be capable of two-sided imaging
(duplexing). Available in 11 and 14 inch lengths.
|
V FOLD
 (SINGLE FOLD)
|
Provides more data entry space than Z fold. Both panels of the inside are used for
enclosed data, while one panel of the outside is used for address information. V fold
construction is ideal for applications that appear as a letter since it opens for easier
reading, or for two sets of the same data. V fold constructions require that the computer
printer be capable of two-sided imaging (duplexing). Available in 8-1/2 and 11 inch
lengths to meet USPS requirements.

Why should you choose KingSeal pressure seal products? We think there are several reasons.
- At King Printing Solutions, we're more than just a forms manufacturer - we consider ourselves a
system facilitator.
- We understand the form product is only one component of your customer's system, and it must
be compatible with all other components - the application itself, the printer used, the folder/sealer equipment used, United States Postal Service requirements, and the Federal Reserve System.
- We'll work with you to design and deliver a total solution, not simply a form product.
- Our KingSeal stock offering is the largest in the industry. You can choose from more
than 20 items, with checks in four colors, three KingGuard® Security formats, and two paper weights.
You even have a choice of paper weights with most of our blank items!
- Our cohesive creates a more secure and faster seal than many other products, particularly
for applications processed through high speed cut sheet printers.
- We pride ourselves on our ability to provide quality products in all formats - cut sheet,
continuous, and roll.

Although our primary business is to manufacture and market KingSeal mailers, we know they are
only one component of the mailing system. Equipment to fold and seal the document is another
component, and we are proud to recommend the AutoSeal line of folder/sealers from Formax.
Formax offers seven different models, meeting a wide range of processing and
duty cycle requirements. Click on the link below to review their entire line of folder/sealers
